My Valentines Day Spread…

So, I made a spread for my mother in law to take to a small gathering she had at her school… I did this for Christmas also and wanted to make sure I kept with the niceness of what I made from Christmas for them. I’m also a “one upper” so any chance I get to make something I go for it!

Anyhow. I wanted her to have some type of serving platter that was different, so I made one!

I started out with a piece of stiff board, styrofoam, glue, tape  and tissue paper.

It was amazingly easy seeing as though I thought I would have issues!
I used the strawberry napoleons I made to go around the outer circle and marshmallow pops for the inside.

Oh, I also made the monkey muffins with red sugar!

I put red sugar in the bottom with the butter and cinnamon which when melted made a red “sauce” that of course stuck to the muffins and made the bottom red! I also did them in the heart shaped pan!
